Friday Feature

I took this class by Jeanne Oliver...Building A Creatively Made Business.
It was amazing - I learned so much from it and am still trying to process it all and put it into practice...I know, I know, Rome wasn't built overnight!

I sent out a note to our Facebook group to ask them if any of them would like to take part in a weekly feature of each other - and oh boy did they!

Every Friday for the next 10 weeks, I will be featuring a different artist that I "met" in my class.  I hope you enjoy and find some fun stuff to look at!

Beth Cole

Hello all,
I am a self-taught artist/learner/maker. I live with my photographer/metal artist husband in a very, very, very small town in the middle of Nebraska. After seven years as a web designer I pushed back from the computer and picked up a paintbrush, something I have always wanted to do. I am inspired by the textures of living rural -- rust, peeling paint, old and pretty things -- and the values this life has given me -- family and simple living.

I would like to give away an 8" x 10" print of my original Ride On painting to anyone who would like to have this little bit of bicycle cheer. Please leave a comment on my blog post referencing the giveaway and I will select one winner at random.

Thanks so much for visiting and please come back soon!

  1. Hi Renee,
I took the Jeanne Oliver class as well. I don't make anything specifically, but do a lot of crafts from quilting to embroidery and home dec. I don't sell anything that I make. I greatly appreciate all the artists out there. On another note, my Mom was in Stage IV for her cancer. She was diagnosed 10 years ago, She has had to go through treatment 3 times as it kept coming back. She went through a clinical trial 6 years ago and as of today it has not returned. I hope it is gone for good. Keep fighting, I believe attitude has a lot to do with how you can win the battle.
